Rowing Outside of Practice Schedule - COVID-19

Private boat owners can row independently under the following conditions-

• All equipment required by Transport Canada must be carried in the rowing shell
• Oars, lifejackets and all associated safety equipment will be stored offsite as there will be no access to the oar house
• Private equipment users must follow VRDBC COVID-19  equipment and personal hygiene protocols when rowing outside of the practice schedule.
• The only times for unsupervised rowing times for will be as follows (rowing independently outside these hours is not permitted).

• Sunday and Monday
• Tuesday and Thursday prior to 3pm
• Wednesday after 11am
• Saturday after 11.30am

Please be aware that it is mandatory that you use hand sanitizer on arrival and before leaving the site.

Your boat and oars will need to be washed with soap and water and then thoroughly rinsed. You will need to bring all supplies (soap and clean towels) and store them off-site.

Please be aware that the dock will not have been cleaned following the last use.

The entry gate will need to be locked when you are onsite and rowing, and you will take responsibility to ensure the gate is locked when leaving.
