Youth Come and Try Rowing- June 11 9-10.30am
Come and try rowing at Swan Lake, we know you will love it!
Our rowing program is open to youth 12-`19 years and there is no experience needed. All equipment is supplied and we have a great team of coaches working with our athletes.
Training sessions are Tuesday and Thursday 5.30-7pm and Saturday morning 9-10.30am. Our coached program is also open to youth rowers and is here. You are welcome to row as often as you would like, our season runs from May- mid-October making it a perfect fit for winter sport athletes.
Our youth program attends regattas and athletes have regularly been selected to compete at BC Summer Games.
The Come and Try event is at Vernon Rowing and Dragon Boat Club, 7730 Lochdale Rd Vernon- off highway 97 on Swan Lake

This event is sanctioned by Rowing Canada Aviron. Registration can be done online through Rowing Canada, this includes a liability waiver. The registration can also be done at the event, youth rowers will need to have a parent or guardian sign a waiver form then.
